why should palestinians have to leave behind their land because israel wont stop killing them. why should anyone have to leave behind their life and memories and sentimental value just because an aggressor is left unchallenged. please think this sentiment through and delete it from your thoughts. instead of blaming an oppressed people for living in a hostile land, ask who is making that land hostile to live in.

I’ve been closely following and supporting the cause of Gaza and Palestine in my own time, but decided for this past month that I was too cowardly to post on my stories. I regret this so much and I’m done with my year of fear. I have allowed myself to become so insecure and intimidated this year and it has led to complete moral cowardice in a lot of ways on my part. Prioritizing my fear of being judged over doing what’s right but fuck that forever. I’m not a child and I don’t get the excuse of embarrassment to not be loud and steadfast about Palestine. Silence and supporting quietly is over.
